John Ury

John Ury was born in England and has made Florida his home for over 40 years. After a business career he is devoting his retirement years to telling the the story of the Holocaust and making sure that the next generations “never forget”. In his previous presentation, A Jewish Family in Berlin (1770 – 1944) - 5 Generations, he tells the story of the Holocaust through his own family. He continues his exploration of the Holocaust showing how the hatred of the Jews was so widespread in almost every country in Europe. John's interest in the Holocaust is not only as a Jew but also because many of his own German family perished.
