When the world feels uncertain, the stories of those who navigate it with resilience and purpose shine brightest. 'Resilience & Identity: Jewish Life in Uncertain Times' is a not-to-be-missed OLLI at FIU lecture series that brings together Jewish leaders from every walk of life to share insights, inspiration, and strategies for sustaining community, culture, and identity in challenging times.

Our guest speaker in January is: Jon Warech

Jon Warech, Executive Director of Hillel at FIU, will join us to share how his leadership is guiding Jewish students through these challenging times. As the head of one of South Florida’s most vibrant Hillel communities, he has been on the front lines of supporting students as they navigate questions of identity, belonging, and resilience during a time of heightened uncertainty and crisis. His talk will offer a window into the lived experiences of today’s Jewish students and the vital role Hillel plays in helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered.

  • Tickets for this lecture series may be purchased individually, or members can enjoy a $20 savings by bundling access to all talks.
