When the world feels uncertain, the stories of those who navigate it with resilience and purpose shine brightest. 'Resilience & Identity: Jewish Life in Uncertain Times' is a not-to-be-missed OLLI at FIU lecture series that brings together Jewish leaders from every walk of life to share insights, inspiration, and strategies for sustaining community, culture, and identity in challenging times.

Our guest speaker in February is: Brian Siegal

Brian Siegal, director of the American Jewish Committee in Miami, brings his firsthand experience guiding the local Jewish community through complex challenges. In this lecture, he will explore how Miami’s Jewish leaders confront rising antisemitism, strengthen communal bonds, and navigate Israel–Diaspora relations. Drawing from his work on the ground, Siegal offers insight into the courage and conscience required to lead in today’s world.

  • Tickets for this lecture series may be purchased individually, or members can enjoy a $20 savings by bundling access to all talks.
