When the world feels uncertain, the stories of those who navigate it with resilience and purpose shine brightest. 'Resilience & Identity: Jewish Life in Uncertain Times' is a not-to-be-missed OLLI at FIU lecture series that brings together Jewish leaders from every walk of life to share insights, inspiration, and strategies for sustaining community, culture, and identity in challenging times.

Our guest speaker in March is: Galina Vromen

When Galina Vromen brought PJ Library to Israel, she launched not only a Hebrew edition (Sifriyat Pijama) but also the world’s largest Arabic book program (Maktabat al-Fanoos). Together, these award-winning initiatives have distributed millions of books, fostering literacy and connection across cultures. Join us as Galina shares the challenges and insights of adapting PJ Library to Israel.

  • Tickets for this lecture series may be purchased individually, or members can enjoy a $20 savings by bundling access to all talks.

    OLLI members enjoy free parking!
