This is a 12-week cinema series where students will explore international classic and contemporary films pre-selected from the Criterion Collection. Students will view films at their leisure and join Shelly Isaacs for a virtual, live post-discussion each week.
Fridays at 1:00 pm: 9/10, 9/24, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, & 12/10
- The Criterion Collection has long been synonymous with award winning, critically acclaimed international and independent classic and contemporary cinema. In 2019 it branched out and has since become a premier subscription streaming service, offering a comprehensive archive of film and ancillary materials.

Shelly Isaacs
Shelly is founder, programmer and host for Cafe Cinematheque and Senses of Cinema programs available at many venues throughout South Florida. Previously, he enjoyed a long career as a creative director/writer & producer/director in advertising. He earned his MA in Media Ecology Studies from New York University, where he served as an adjunct in Graduate Level Cultural Studies.
In 2009 Shelly launched Cinematheque at Sea, offering audiences who appreciate foreign-language film an opportunity to experience his program of specially-selected films while on luxury cruises throughout the world.
