Laura Moyer has been a member of Pine Shores Art Association since 2014. She has enjoyed practicing many different art forms in a variety of mediums provided by the classes at PSAA. One of her first classes was Zentangle, and she was immediately charmed by its simplicity and relaxing qualities. Zentangle is an activity that can be done alone or shared with friends. All it takes are some simple tools, a little bit of time, and the magic of focusing solely in the present moment as you form each stroke. These moments of being focused on each pattern and on each dot and line will provide an unexpected sense of calmness and release of stress. Come try it for yourself and discover a lighthearted and peaceful way to create whimsical works of graphic art that can stand alone or be incorporated into other mediums.
