This course is designed to introduce new woodworkers to the tools and techniques in measuring and marking wood in preparation for hand or machine tools.  Students will practice using squares, rulers and other measuring tools.  Students will describe the meaning of symbols used in woodworking plans and practice transferring plans, along with angles, circles, and arcs, from print to wood.
