Introduction to Turning A
Class | Registration opens 11/1/2024 8:00 AM PDT
In this class, students will learn:
The safety and basics of turning
Lathe components and turning tools
Tool sharpening and use
How to perform the basic cuts on spindles: V-groove, coves and beads
The class concludes with the student making a honey dipper, including sanding and finish. This class will help prepare you to get the certification necessary to use the shops lathes.
