Class | FULL (Membership Required)
In this class the student will learn:
Lathe and tool safety
Tool sharpening
Bowl gouge use and introduction of the four basic cuts:
Push cuts, pull cuts, scraping cuts, and the shear scrape
How to make a dovetail tenon to fit a four jaw chuck
Using a lathe-mounted drill chuck.

- Spindle Certification
- Students must be at least 18 years old
Project you will make: Weed Vase and Jam Chuck
