Pen Turning

Description: In this class the student will learn:
- Safety and Basics of Pen Turning
- Preparation of wood blanks
- Proper mounting of wood blanks on Mandrel
- Turning your design
- How to create a durable finish with CA glue and Micromesh Buffing
- Assembly of the finished pen
Students will leave the class with at least one completed functional, handcrafted pen.
Pen blank and pen kit will be provided to turn a second pen time permitted.
- Prerequisites:
- Introduction to Turning A
- Spindle Certification
- Students must be at least 18 years old
