Introduction to Fusion 360

Class | Available (Membership Required)

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to Autodesk Fusion 360, specifically designed for those with little or no prior 3D modeling experience. Students will master the core foundations of parametric design, learning to navigate the interface and create fully constrained sketches from the ground up. The curriculum emphasizes design intent, teaching students how to build robust solid models that remain stable even with design changes.

The course follows a structured path from orientation and UI fundamentals to advanced model organization. Beyond simple modeling, you will explore the distinction between bodies and components, learn to diagnose and repair broken features, and gain an overview of Fusion 360’s broader capabilities. By the end of the course, you will be able to manage complex file structures and apply dimensional constraints intentionally to realize your woodworking or engineering projects.

  • Students must be at least 18 years old.
