ONSITE: Cyanotype Totebag
Adult Intensive | This class is completed
Make your very own tote bag using sunlight and one of the earliest printing processes— cyanotypes! Also known as blueprints, this technique is commonly used for photography, printmaking and clothing adornment. In this beginner-friendly class, students learn to coat fabric and paper by hand, expose an image with sunlight and process the final prints. Great companion process for screen printing or fabric arts.
Optional: students can bring other fabric to coat if there is time and materials for making more.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
