ONSITE: Intermediate Linocut Printmaking (This class is only offered twice a year!)
Adult Multi-Week | This class has been canceled
Students will build upon prior knowledge of relief printmaking. This class is an ‘open study’ for students to explore possibilities in this craft that may be out of their comfort zone. Examples include: very large prints, prints on fabric, reduction linocuts, fine details, jigsaw prints, nontraditional carving tools and more.
Students should already know how to carve and be ready to work on more advanced skills/ hone in on their craft! Please come to class with your own set of carving tools, the surface you'll be carving into, and ideas! Don't hesitate to contact the instructor for ideas, suggestions, tool lists, etc.
Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
