ONSITE: WTF (Woman, Trans, Femme) Woodworking: Design Your Own Project (This class is only offered a few times a year!)

Adult Multi-Week | This class is completed

This class is a safe space for women, trans, and femme folks to expand and explore woodworking techniques. You'll design and fabricate your own project, learn new techniques for joinery, gain experience using the table, mitre and band saws, drill press, power sanders, jointer and planer. We will respect marginalized identities, be patient with one another, use accessible language and support each other's growth as woodworkers.

  • This class is designed for Women, Trans and Femme identifying people. Please do not take space in this class if you do not self-identify with one of these groups. Students must have previously taken a beginner level WTF woodworking class with Nava.

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

This is an On-site course. Students must follow current Covid-19 protocols, as outlined on our website. On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
