This class is a great way for kids to learn how to work within a budget to create a completely unique puppet from objects and fabric found at the thrift store on Visarts’ same block! This class helps give kids agency in making their own choices for their sculpture while making things silly and fun.

  • This class will take a walk to Fan-tastic Thrift store, one block away from VisArts.

    This is an On-site course. Students must follow current CDC + VDH guidance outlined on our website: visarts.org

Hi, I'm Tori! I love to paint and talk about art! In my work I try to reuse supplies and repurpose old fabrics to give them new life. My subject matter usually leans toward domestic scenes such as the home, and the incorporation of fibers help bring an expressive quality to my work. I love all mediums, but I use a lot of paper in my work in different collage forms.
