In this workshop, we will demystify how books are made, introducing and exploring several techniques of assembling books from scratch. Sometimes we will just use a needle, thread, and paper. Once we have those tools under our belts, we can do the fun job of personalizing and decorating them for however we plan to use them after class.

  • Students will be provided with all the art materials. They are welcome to come with any book content ideas. Some of the stitches we will learn and orient ourselves with are saddle and coptic stitches.

This teacher speaks Spanish, but the class is held in English.

This class counts as a core class in our Art League Certificate Program.

This is an ONSITE course. Students are expected to adhere to our COVID-19 policies. For more info please visit visarts.org.
