Figure Drawing: Breaking the Form

Break down the form by simplifying it. This course introduces students to preliminary processes and resources for drawing the human form with accuracy and speed. Students will experience the complete process of drawing a refined human form from a live model using various tools and methods of drafting.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
Darion McCoy
Darion McCoy is a multi-disciplinary creative and software developer with over ten years of expertise. Since graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, he has achieved accomplishments in various fields, including illustration, product design, and game development. Darion recently relocated from Brooklyn, NY, where he taught at New York University’s game design department. He works as a product designer and dedicates spare time to video game development and personal art.
