Tarot Cards in Watercolor
Adult Multi-Week | Available
Dive into the context and insight of tarot cards and design your own deck. Students will draw on personal symbolism to create unique imagery and compositions. Cards will be created in pencil, ink, and vibrant watercolor pencil. Drawing and painting instruction will be provided as students embark on a journey of self discovery.
- Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
On-site courses do not come with studio access outside of class time. Paid open studio access is available through our Studio Access Program. Please visit visarts.org for more information.
Merenda Cecelia
Merenda Cecelia lives in Richmond, Va. She is an artist and state certified art educator with extensive experience in mosaic work including several large installations. She has taught for 12 years in a variety of settings including public and private schools, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, and The Visual Arts Center since graduating with a BFA in Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She also works at the VMFA planning large community events, and when she is not doing that you can find her in the yoga studio or playing in creeks with her son.
