Focusing primarily on the wheel, this class for intermediate and advanced potters will explore size, form, refinement and surface. Special attention will be given to creating larger vessels and lids, and executing more sophisticated forms. A brief portion of each class will be dedicated to group critiques of individual work.
- All materials are provided. Each student receives 25 lbs of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.
Lee Hazelgrove
Lee has been a studio potter and art educator for 30 years. His work focuses on decorative vessels, wall pieces and platters, often large in scale, created primarily on the wheel. He has exhibited in galleries throughout America and is represented in several museum collections.
