SketchUp is a 3D modeling computer program used for a wide range of drawing applications such as architectural and interior design, civil and mechanical engineering, film, and video game design. It is available in a freeware version, SketchUp Make, and a paid version with additional functionality, SketchUp Pro. If you aren't familiar with CAD or 3D programs and are interested in getting started in 3D computer modeling, SketchUp is for you because it's easy to learn and use. This one-day SketchUp workshop will introduce the fundamentals of the application and offer an opportunity to experiment and model at your own pace.

  • Students will need to bring a flash drive to class. All other equipment and materials are provided. A lunch break will be provided; students are encouraged to bring a bag lunch.
Bethel, Paul

Paul Bethel is the owner and principal designer for Paul Bethel Design. Paul Bethel Design began sometime in 2002 between freelance commissions and graduate school with the desire to be involved in different kinds of projects from the inside to the outside. As project and construction management positions became available, so did opportunities to learn from contractors, architects and engineers. Today, collaborating with potters, metal, wood and furniture fabricators, painters, artists and designers alike makes the experience more enriching and more fun. Website: paulbetheldesign.com
