This is the place to begin building skills for further work in drawing and painting. Focus is given to basic tenants of drawing and composition. The fine art of observation and the skills for translating what is seen to paper are discussed and practiced in depth. Using a variety of materials, you will establish a solid understanding of line, shape, space and value. A materials list is provided to students to purchase necessary supplies.
