This course introduces the fundamentals of working with acrylic paint, essential color theory, and various brushwork techniques. To aid our study, we’ll look at historical references and contemporary examples. Students will come away with a deeper understanding of this medium and its expressive possibilities; the class is ideal for first-time painters as well as those with some prior experience. A materials list is provided to students to purchase necessary supplies.
