Designed for beginners, this class will cover the basics of weaving on a floor loom. Warping demonstrations and hands-on practice emphasize how and why things work. You will learn techniques for achieving smooth selvages and an even beat; plan to design and complete at least one plain weave project—a rag rug, scarf, or table runner. Returning students are welcome, and more complex projects can be taken on. All materials are provided.
