Students will explore kiln-working techniques to create projects of their choosing, ranging from functional to sculptural. Techniques covered will include advanced fusing techniques, making pattern bars and pot melts, and various forms of shaping the glass through slumping, mold making and cold working. This class is for students who have previously taken at least three glass fusing classes. Some materials are provided; students will purchase glass from VisArts based on individual projects.
