This is an ideal class for those who have acquired some familiarity with the camera and are interested in refining aesthetic and technical skills. Class discussions center on master photographers and explore contemporary trends in art photography. Weekly assignments are designed to improve students’ sense of composition and personal vision, while troubleshooting technical challenges. Students will learn how to process RAW images and create an effective workflow for capturing and formatting images. This class is a great next step after Introduction to Digital Photography. Students should bring a DSLR camera, or a point-and-shoot with some manual adjustment capability (aperture and shutter speed priority).
