Wet Plate Collodion Photography
Adult Intensive | This class is completed
Wet plate collodion, one of the earliest photographic processes, has experienced a recent resurgence because of both its beauty and the unique images it produces. In this workshop, participants learn how to prepare glass, pour and sensitize collodion, properly expose and develop the plate, and apply a protective varnish. Students will shoot portraits or still lifes using large format cameras and tripods. All materials are provided.
