This independent study gives you full access to VisArts’ ceramics studio and an opportunity to work in a casual yet professional environment with other ceramic artists. Enjoy ample time to practice your craft and the benefit of having a professional ceramic artist in studio to answer questions and offer demonstrations.

  • All materials and equipment provided.
  • You will receive 25 pounds of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.
Klassett, Paul

Paul has a BFA in photography from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. He began doing pottery in 2000 and has been teaching ceramics at the Visual Art Center since 2012. Currently he shows at Shockoe Bottom Clay gallery in Richmond, Va. He also exhibits at various art festivals through out the central east coast.
