Expand your painting practice by studying water-based techniques used from antiquity to today. We’ll examine how ink, gouache and watercolor have been used, over the centuries, to create preparatory studies and finished paintings on paper. You’ll create small studies in each medium, which will help you better understand technique and the use of water media for representational and abstract painting. Plan to walk away with a set of small works on paper and one larger finished piece.
