Class Description

Try wheel throwing on a potter’s wheel and create a pot with white stoneware. Fire and finish your pieces using food-safe glaze colors.

Please bring an old towel or apron. All other materials provided.

Claire Parrish

Claire Parrish is a potter and sculptor living in Richmond, VA. Claire received her BFA in Ceramics as well as a BFA in Art Education from the University of Georgia and moved to Richmond from Athens, GA in June of 2015. She currently makes work out of her studio at Plant Zero Artist Studios and enjoys teaching both youth and adult ceramics classes at the Visual Arts Center. Claire primarily makes pottery and and sells her work through artist shows and shops both local and beyond and online at www.claireparrishpottery.com.
