Learn techniques of colored pencil drawing including: blending and layering of color through loose granular application of two or more colors, burnishing through dense saturate of color, composition through an understanding of color schemes. We’ll also explore other techniques using underpainting and solvents. Expect demonstrations all of these processes as well as time to practice them. Students will complete a colored pencil drawing of their own subject.
