Prepare the necessary materials and learn the basic steps to make different shapes and sizes of baskets. You’ll finish at least two projects such as a bowl, a pencil holder, a small round basket with a lid and a small egg basket with a handle.

  • No class July 4th.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
Burman, Joel

Joel Burman started weaving baskets in 1984. A friend showed him some basic steps and he has been learning ever since. The baskets that he weaves are mostly Appalachian style work or gathering baskets. The material that he uses most is rattan round reed.
