Alden, Jack

Jack worked with glass for the first time in St. Petersburg, Florida under Dave Walker and Josh Poll. Soon after, he began learning about Chihuly glass, and sharing his knowledge as a docent at the Chihuly Collection. After his first time at Penland School of Crafts studying with Micah Evans, he moved to Richmond, Virginia where he took a position as Teachers Assistant for Christopher McElroy. Shortly after arriving, Jack opened a flame working studio where he rented space and taught lessons. After graduating from VCU, he continues to work with glass and push his artwork forward.
