Bring light and color into the black and white darkroom. Chromoskedasic sabatier is an alternative photographic process that uses chemicals and sunlight along with regular darkroom paper, developer and fixer. Students with a background in darkroom printing will learn how to paint with chemicals and light to create unique and one-of-a-kind prints from pre-existing negatives.

Students should bring images they have already created, either negatives for the enlarger or digital negatives for contact printing. Throughout this course students will produce images of various sizes and colors from their own original works. This is an introduction to a new medium and should be a place to play and learn with no rules!

  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
