In this weekend workshop, illustrator and self–taught letterer Clara Cline will help you unlock the tips, tricks, tools and techniques of successful lettering style. We'll cover the fundamentals of the hand lettering process, from the foundations of lettering design and honing your typographic eye, to concept building, sketching and the final product: your own hand lettered quote. You'll learn the principles and structure behind letter design, how to use lettering and layout to express tone and explore illustrative elements. No experience in lettering is necessary and the workshop is open to all skill levels.
