Learn the basics of needle felting and make a fun gift for your Valentine. You will use a needle to sculpt wool of different colors into your own handmade piece of art. Examples will be provided to give you ideas but this is a very freeform medium, so there is plenty of room to get creative!

  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

From a young age, I watched my grandma work on many different fiber crafts; she always had one project or another going whenever she had a few minutes of down time. I was fascinated and wanted to learn so I could craft with her. I never quite got the hang of knitting but took to crocheting quickly. In college, I majored in fine arts for a couple years but ended up getting my BA in photography. My fine art background has helped my crochet work immensely by giving me the tools to make anything, with or without a pattern.
