Complete a series of exercises that will help you gain a better understanding of color use and organization. Weekly exercises will help you with palette development and mixing pigments, color relationships, color schemes, using light sources for color interaction, color vocabulary and selecting colors for personal projects. You’ll learn how to use color in a composition, how to find value in color and how to identify and manipulate the characteristics of color. Students are welcome to bring personal projects to class for color assessment. This class is designed specifically for oil painters.
