Create eclectic 2-D and 3-D art collections using clay, wire, fabric, paint and other materials.

  • ArtVenture classes are confirmed two weeks prior to their start date. All materials are provided.
  • VisArts will be closed on Thursday, July 4th. Classes will not take place on this date.
Bryant Poliakoff, Amanda

Amanda Bryant Poliakoff is an elementary art educator with Richmond Public Schools and has a Master of Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. Amanda is passionate about facilitating joyful art experiences for children using a variety of art media. In her personal studio practice, Amanda works in drawing and fibers to reflect on family, faith, and smooshy middle grounds.

McManus, Molly

Molly McManus earned her BA in Art History & Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 and has since worked with individuals with autism spectrum disorder in community and school settings. Molly is passionate about interdisciplinary art and has a love for embroidery, drawing inspiration from the natural world and themes of self-empowerment and advocacy. She is completing her Master’s in Art Education from VCU and in her free time you can find her on a hike, loving on her dog and checking out new Richmond restaurants. https://mcmanusmv.wixsite.com/mysite
