Learn how to effectively use social media and digital content strategy to tell your story and create a lasting, positive impression that grabs the attention of your audience in an over-saturated digital world. Over the course of four weeks, students will learn how to establish a personal brand and voice, produce authentic compelling content, apply best practices for social media, and analyze data to strategically market their creative or entrepreneurial career.

  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
  • The classroom will have computers but you may bring your own, or a smartphone if you prefer.
Thornbrugh, Carrie

Before entering the world of social media marketing, Carrie Thornbrugh earned her B.A. in English Literature and M.A. in Contemporary Literary Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London. Carrie has had the opportunity to live, teach, and write in world cities with rich literary and historical significance such as London, Rome, and San Francisco. She is currently an online writing instructor at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco and the Social Media Manager for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
