Experiment with new shapes to create slab-built boxes and build on the basics of slab construction.  Experiment with non-rectangular or square boxes as well as triangles, domes and oval forms. We'll review the basics of slab compression and basic joining, then move forward from there. One hand-building class is recommended before taking this class.

  • Prerequisite: a beginner clay class or comparable experience.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
  • All materials and equipment provided. You will receive 25 pounds of clay; additional clay is available for purchase.
