Ever wanted to create your own comic or zine? Learn the basics of drawing, cartooning and sequential images. We’ll cover the steps of story building, character design and layout, then you’ll create your own zine, poster-sized comic or web series. We’ll also cover drawing techniques, personal style as well as printing and web-posting options.

  • Previous drawing experience is required.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
  • Plan to bring a sketchbook and pencils to class.

Boggess, Jared

For about a decade, Jared Boggess has been a hired-gun illustrating articles, making book covers & designing brands. He grew up on a heavy diet of comics and graphic novels, so now he's making his own.
