All good things must come to a mend! Prepare to repair and bring your clothes back to life, while learning hand and machine sewing basics. You’ll learn how to sew closures like buttons, snaps and eye hooks as well as hand darning and reweaving small holes. Machine stitching will be used for patches, torn seams and denim repair. Have something that is “unrepairable”? We will also experiment with some creative solutions. Students can bring any clothing items they would like to embellish or repair, gaining a broad range of possible fixes and the knowledge to address your future repairs.
