Learn to weave on a portable frame loom. We’ll introduce a range of warping techniques, with an emphasis on experimental weaving. We’ll also explore color striping, blending, basic shape construction, eccentric weft and rya knots. You’ll construct your own frame loom, which you can keep for future projects.

  • Class is confirmed or cancelled one week before start date. Additional sign–ups can happen four days prior, but after four days we must contact the instructor to be sure that there are enough materials.
  • All materials are provided. Students are encouraged to bring their favorite yarns or anything that can be woven into their completed work.
