Learn to make sculptures out of wool with needle felting techniques. You can sculpt, make flat, painting-like pieces, jewelry and even practical tools. We’ll do a mini project to help you get an understanding of the medium, then you’ll be guided through your choice of individual projects.

  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

From a young age, I watched my grandma work on many different fiber crafts; she always had one project or another going whenever she had a few minutes of down time. I was fascinated and wanted to learn so I could craft with her. I never quite got the hang of knitting but took to crocheting quickly. In college, I majored in fine arts for a couple years but ended up getting my BA in photography. My fine art background has helped my crochet work immensely by giving me the tools to make anything, with or without a pattern.
