Tosh Chabot
Born between waves in the crown of New England, now settled in the humid flatlands of Richmond, Tosh Chabot is an Arab/French-Canadian, non-binary person who finds comfort through painting. Since graduating from VCU with a BFA in Painting and Printmaking, they enjoy expressionism, landscapes, queer theory, and finely detailed printmaking. This influences their work as they move between realism and abstraction with a deep, yet soft palette. Their work ranges within mediums using watercolor, lithography, intaglio, latex house paint, and oils. You can find them playing soccer, screen-printing at Studio Two-Three, or on walks alongside the James.
