We'll fire a piece you glaze and then smoke it in a fire-filled can while you enjoy the campfire like atmosphere on our patio! (2 piece maximum per person unless kiln space permits more). We will have clay pieces available to choose from.

  • Ages 13+ are welcomed, if accompanied by an adult.
  • Half the seats of classes will be available for pre-registration on the Monday before Second Friday: September 9th at 12pm. The rest of the seats will still be first come, first served sign up beginning at 5pm on September 13th and are open until the second session starts at 7:30.
  • We do not contact waitlist participants for 2nd Fridays classes; please do not join a waitlist. Instead, consider signing up in-person on Friday at 5pm!
  • All materials are included.

Paul has a BFA in photography from the Corcoran School of Art in Washington D.C. He began doing pottery in 2000 and has been teaching ceramics at the Visual Art Center since 2012. Currently he shows at Shockoe Bottom Clay gallery in Richmond, Va. He also exhibits at various art festivals through out the central east coast.
