Learn to draw with depth and expression for graphic novels and comics. We’ll cover techniques for sketching and growing your confidence with ink and other black/white media. Refine your skill over the course of several drawing assignments and walk away with a better understanding of storytelling. Some tools and materials will be provided. Intermediate drawing skill is recommended.

  • Intermediate drawing skill is recommended. Start-up materials are provided. Purchasing a light board is suggested but not required.
  • Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.
  • All materials are provided.
Boggess, Jared

For about a decade, Jared Boggess has been a hired-gun illustrating articles, making book covers & designing brands. He grew up on a heavy diet of comics and graphic novels, so now he's making his own.
