Apply new and exciting surfaces through your drawing while exploring ways to "marry" personal mark making to surface making. You'll learn to create a surface with several different liquid materials that will further develop uses with ink, brush, charcoal and pastel. While using multi-layers of these products, surface richness and texture will be enhanced. Winter subjects of landscapes and still life will make for intriguing subjects for these surface layering techniques. By the end of the sessions you will have a renewed sensitivity to surfaces and tools with a drawing that farther expresses your unique mark making.
