Go no further than your kitchen to find the ingredients for your dye projects. We'll explore the many secret, natural dyes easily available from the grocer and your pantry. Natural dyes are best used on natural cloth, yarn and thread such as 100% cotton, flax, silk, wool, jute, hemp, bamboo or blends. Bring fabric/yarn to dye and we'll provide the stove and ingredients.

  • For this workshop students should bring in the white cotton fabric item they'd like to cyanotype. This can range from socks, shirts, dresses, tote bags, shorts, etc.
