Class Description

Learn all of the basic skills you need to develop and print your own etchings. We'll cover plate development techniques like hard and soft grounds, as well as printing techniques like hand wiping, culminating in a final edition of prints.

Special Notes

Classes are confirmed one week prior to the start date. In order to help us confirm classes, please register as early as possible.

Required Supplies

You will need to provide any specialty paper for individual projects; basic paper and other materials and equipment are provided.

Samuel Guerin

Samuel Guerin is a Printer and Art Janitor living in Richmond, VA. Samuel graduated from Boston University in 2015 with degrees in Painting and Art History, and has spent the intervening years working as an apprentice and assistant in several commercial and non-profit print shops.
