The Bullet Journal (Bujo) is a notebook organization system and a creative outlet for visual thinkers and creatives. Ryder Carroll, a digital product designer, developed this personal organization method that has gained popularity worldwide. The notebook becomes a space that encourages productivity and creativity. It is a tool that can track development and habits, capture ideas, keep notes, gather inspiration, and boost creativity. After learning how to set up the key components of a Bujo, students will experiment with creative elements to customize the system to their own needs and design their unique journal.

  • Fresh Notebook + Pen, but more detailed items are on supply list.
  • • This is an online class. In order to attend online classes, students must be able to attend the class via Zoom, an online cloud conferencing program. You do not need to download the program to join for classes.
  • • You will be sent a link and password to your class one week before the class begins and the day before class begins. Please DO NOT share the link or password with anyone. Please keep the link somewhere you can easily access it throughout the entirety of your class.
  • • All online classes are recorded for quality purposes. If you miss a class, you may request a class recording from techsupport@visartsorg. Class recordings will be made available up to fourteen days after the session concludes.
  • • Neither the instructor, students nor VisArts are permitted to monetize online class recordings in any way. Please do not share class recordings on social media or other websites.

Wolf, Janpim

Janpim Wolf is an art educator who graduated with a double major in Photography + Film and Art Education from Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. She has taught in diverse settings, both locally and internationally, enabling her to immerse herself in different cultures and incorporate these experiences into her teaching. As a lifelong learner, she has continued to expand her horizons, exploring various mediums such as flameworking and digital media arts at the Visual Arts Center and E-textiles at Penland School of Arts and Crafts.
